This short knee brace can be used for post-operative care as well as during rehabilitation. Made from ARX Mesh material, it offers very good ventilation, no moisture absorption, and quick drying. A full-length anterior opening makes the brace easy to apply by simply wrapping it around the knee joint, and it's fitted with four half-circular straps that allow anterior or posterior support to be applied over each strap, creating a shear force across the joint. The knee hinge — the 33cm MR4998 Short ROM Hinge — can be adjusted directly on the patient without removing the brace: simply open the hinge cover and set the pins. The four stainless steel pins can be set in extension (0°, 15°, 30°, 60°, 90°) and flexion (90°, 60°, 30°, 15°, 0°), or the hinge can be completely blocked at 0°, 15°, 30°, 60°, or 90°. A safety lock on the cap over the joint snaps securely into place.
