The Vasyli Forefoot Varus Wedge is a self-adhesive addition applied to an existing orthotic device to correct a forefoot varus abnormality — where the plantar plane of the forefoot is inverted relative to the rearfoot when the subtalar joint is in neutral. The forefoot varus angle is measured first, then the wedge is posted at the matching angle under the plantar metatarsal area, with the thickest part of the wedge positioned proximal to the first metatarsal head, helping to restore proper alignment and improve foot function.
