Brace options are selected according to your affected compartment:
Medial Compartment - The side of the body or a body part that is closest to the middle or center of the body
Lateral Compartment - The side of the body or a body part that is farther from the middle or center of the body
To help choose the correct knee brace, please use this guide:
LEFT KNEE PAIN - If the pain is on the inside of your left knee, choose the Medial Left/Lateral Right brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the outside of your leg. If the pain is on the outside of your left leg, choose the Medial Right/Lateral Left brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the inside of your leg.
RIGHT KNEE PAIN - If the pain is on the inside of your right leg, choose the Medial Right/Lateral Left brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the outside of your leg. If the pain is on the outside of your right leg, choose the Medial Left/Lateral Right brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the inside of your leg.
