The DeRoyal LMB Spring Coil Finger Flexion Assist is a dynamic splint designed to help improve flexion at the PIP joint. High-quality Wire-Foam construction allows for a customised fit, while coil springs positioned lateral to the PIP joint assist the middle phalanx into flexion. A dorsal pad distributes pressure evenly across the finger, and a proximal strap provides adjustable tension — this strap must be correctly positioned to achieve proper joint alignment. The splint is capable of bending a supple joint to approximately 80°, and the finger pad remains free to allow continued function during wear.
